I once said that I would never bake.  That worked out well.

It was Chocolate Chip Cookies that unravelled me. I was convinced that I could notbake until one day I just decided to try and make the cookie recipe on the back of the Tollhouse Semisweet Chocolate Chips bag. That was almost four years ago and I don’t think I have stopped since.

I am not a trained pastry chef and I’ve never so much as taken a single class at a pastry school.  I’m an experimenter and I bake because I love it. What I love even more is being able to share my baked goods with all of the people in my life.  Nothing says love like homemade baked goodness!  Or maybe I just like to corrupt people with sugar. Whatever. 

The blog came about because of Matt over at I Blog What I Eat.  We were once work colleagues and I was always bringing my sugar experiments into the office. He suggested I start a blog about my kitchen adventures and after much procrastinating, here I am! Welcome to I Blog What I Bake!  I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy baking for it. :)
